Meet the Farmers

Meet Eric and his wife Bailey, long-time residents of Drayton Valley, who are excited to become a staple in their community and surrounding areas. Realizing the strong need for local, year-round, clean food, they have jumped into this new venture, along with their daughter Cadence, in hopes of creating sustainable fresh produce year-round.

Becoming a farmer with the Vertical Roots Canada family allows them to grow vertically using hydroponics year-round. Pesticide, herbicide, and chemical-free of any sprays, the product is harvested the same day as it is delivered, ensuring freshness and clean greens for you and your family. 

Offerings will include Romaine Lettuce, Leaf Lettuces, Herbs, as well as Kale and Spinach! Be sure to join our email newsletter to be the First To Know when our first harvest is ready and where you can purchase it. Build out begins May 2026, with hopes of a first harvest following within a couple of months. We can’t wait to serve you!
